Yes, once you’re matched with a certain tutor, all your following lessons will be with that same tutor.

Yes, our tutors are generally flexible. You can further discuss the day and time as well as the frequency of sessions with them.

We’ll provide you with the contact information of your tutor, so you can schedule lessons or inform them of any changes. Contact methods can vary from text messaging, calling, emailng, and social services like whatsapp.

It is important that students attend all sessions on time. If a student is late, the tutor will wait up to 10 minutes before the student will be considered absent without eligibility for a refund. All efforts will be made by the tutor to reach the client/student to remind them of the upcoming lesson, and tutors will work to reschedule the lesson based on individual circumstances. If the tutor has to cancel a lesson, they must also follow this policy.

The Client/Student may cancel tuition/lessons by giving at least a 24 hours prior notice to the Tutor without incurring any fees. Lessons not attended by the student without giving 24 hours prior notice to the Tutor shall be charged at the full rate.

We offer tutoring in a variety of subjects for High School Students. Our most in-demand subjects are French, Math, English, Sciences, and more. If you’re interested in any other subjects, reach out to us at contact@empowertutoring.ca

The majority of our tutors are enrolled in university programs, while a minority have professional experience or are certified teachers. It is worth noting that all our tutors have expertise in the subject they teach, whether it be through studying it at the university level or obtaining a PhD in the field. You can feel confident in the knowledge of your tutor, who is not only knowledgeable but also approachable and friendly.

Lesson duration & frequency is totally up to you! Our tutoring packages assume each lesson is 60 minutes. However, you can allocate the 60 minute lessons however you’d like - 2 hour lessons, 30 minute lessons, 3 times a week, or just once, you name it! :)
